Please arrive by 5:45 PM, as we will begin the one hour content portion of the evening promptly at 6:00 PM with a 2022-focused opening keynote address from institutional investment consulting thought leader, Rich Nuzum, CFA, President of Investments and Retirement at Mercer.

We will conclude the one hour content portion of the evening with an alternative investments closing keynote fireside chat featuring alternative investment thought leaders Lawrence Calcano, Chairman and CEO of iCapital Network; John Bowman, CFA, Executive Vice President of the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) Association and David Belmont, CFA, Global Head of Alternatives Risk and Quantitative Analysis at BlackRock. After the one hour content portion of the evening will be the reception portion of the evening, where complimentary food will be provided by our organizers. There will also be a cash bar. Registration for this event, which will be held under Chatham House rules, will be limited to 500 investment professionals. This is not an official CFA Society New York event and is a holiday reception being organized for friends & personal contacts of the organizers. Finance industry peers who do not receive an invitation may request one.

Tom Brigandi's last in-person Holiday Reception in 2019 was oversubscribed with over 500 asset owner, buy-side and sell-side investment professionals registered. Collectively, registered investment professionals for that event represented organizations that have over 30 trillion dollars of assets under ownership, assets under advisory and assets under management. Due to fire-code capacity issues experienced in 2019, the organizers will not accept any additional registrations once 500 is reached.

To request an invitation, please either click on the above "Request Complimentary Invitation" link or send an email to thomas.brigandi@thomasbrigandi.com with the subject "Investment Outlook & Holiday Networking Reception". In the email please include your name, title and firm. If you are interested in becoming a co-host or a volunteer for the holiday party, please let Tom know one week before the party, as he stops accepting additional co-hosts and volunteers at that time.

The holiday party will also be celebrating the life of Tom's aunt and award winning writer Lea Rapp, who heartbreakingly passed away in August 2021, in addition to the life of Artie Nowak, CPA, a member of Tom’s extended family, who sadly passed away in June 2021. The holiday party will also be celebrating the life of Tom's London-based friend David Weeks, co-chair of the Association of Member Nominated Trustees (AMNT), a membership of around 800 individual trustees that represent UK pension schemes with assets under management of over £950 billion. David tragically passed away in November 2021 following a battle with cancer. Joyously, the party will be celebrating the marriage of Tom's cousin Salvatore and his wife in October 2021.
